When I look at the painting, I imagine that I am lying in a cave looking from down below up into the sky. I look out of the cave a bit and I see a tree in front of me. The space has the day inside it and it has the night, depicting the moon on the left and the sun on the right. For me this represents the female and the male part. And then the bird. The bird which for me carries the thought of a tree in it. He thinks the tree.

In the sky I see ornaments which I cannot allocate. When I imagine that I am lying in this deep cave, I see Indian ornaments at the edges of my perspective. A dragon that is flying through the sky, a kind of crane on the right and then again a moon and a sun, possibly like Yin and Yang. But they have not found each other yet. What I do not understand is, what relationships do the ornaments have with each other? And then of course I ask myself: Where did you start painting, where is your middle?
